Plenary – IMMIGRATION REFORM – National Origin-and Housing Civil Rights – Immigration reform has taken an historical path beginning with the Ellis Island immigration era that brought northern, eastern and southern European immigrants to America. Under current immigration patterns immigrants hail from different places, religions and cultures bringing the same or similar economic and political issues, but issues are now laced with concerns about terrorism and deportations. Speakers will highlight important fair housing questions.
